Ive been slowly abandoning dA in favour of Flickr. There are some people I still follow and I do comment from time to time, but Im removing my work and cleaning house. Too much drama, too much BAD WORK being thrown at me left-right-and-centre.

...where as in FlickR all the work you see is interesting? Come on,just be more careful whose work you choose to follow next time!

On flickr, the work being presented to me, most often, is either what I go look for (search) or is features (of good work). On dA, everything I see is badly-drawn attempts by 13 year olds at anime/manga and its dreadful. I *CAN* find good work on dA. Thats why I keep my account: to keep tabs on the people who's work I admire. But it's a LOT harder to find the needles in the giant, manga-eye ridden, poorly drawn haystack.
