posting pics for 1st time

Help me. Have signed up for a Flikr account, loaded 1 pic to try it all out. Want to just post it on DPS to start a link. Have found the Text needed, and copied it, but dont know where to put it? I suppose share your pics is the one, but what do I do now?

Hi and welcome to DPS, its a great site full of friendly (and grumpy) people, all of whom are willing to help you with your photography.
As for your photo, you are well on the way by posting it from Flickr, took me a bit to figure that out
Where you put it depends on what you want from the forum. General Chit Chat is generally just for talking about stuff not necessarily related to photography. The pic you have posted could go in either Share Your Shots - if you want to show it off and are not necessarily looking for feedback on it. Or post it in the Critique section if you would like some constructive critique about your picture - be sure to read the Critique forum rules first so you maximise the response you get and therefore the benefit you get from posting in that section.
As for the pic you've posted - I like the feeling of carefree happiness that comes from this, the silhouettes and the colours of the sunset, really nice.
