Default Olympus DSLR availability

After a mishap with my Olympus E 520 and a glass of wine - (OK....it was my fault) I have tried to replace it with an e 620 in the UK. After being messed about by a bunch of w*****s called Camerabox I sent an order to Martins Cameras - guess what - they completed my order and then sent me an email to say it has been discontinued. Is this the state of camera companies in the UK - ie. piss poor? More importantly, try to buy any camera from Olympus other than an E5 and the crappy PENs and you will most likely fail. Have they stopped making DSLRs? I am seriously considering selling all my Olympus gear and going elsewhere.

Rant over - I'll finish my beer and go to bed - after kicking the cat. LOL.

Olympus has stated they aren't continuing their 4/3s cameras, only the m4/3s. It's either the E-5 or the E-PL series.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the lenses for the full size DSLRs fit the E-PLs?

Actually, as I understand it, it's just the E-xxx models that are being replaced with the µ4/3 PENs. The E-xx and E-x four-thirds series remain.

Thank you for that at least I know what they are going to do - might be a lot of Olympus gear on the second-hand market soon.
