Default Noob in need of assistance

probably in the wrong place .. and i have tried searching but throwing up way too many results to be of use ... anywho..

how do i get the Exif data from my photo's to show up when i link them ..??(ie on flikr)
example .. i have 1 in the assignments this week , but had to manually type in the info .. is there an easier way to get the info to show ? .. or is it a manually added thing ?

only my 2nd post so be kind ... and i shall try harder next time

thanks for any help or pointers in the right direction ..

On your Flickr page, click the photo you want EXIF data for. Then up in the right corner it says what type of camera you took the pic with. Click that and your EXIF appears. Just copy and paste the stuff you want to share.

Yeah,..other than that, as far as I know, its kind of a manual thing. You dont have to copy all the info, just the basics. Shutter, ISO, F stop, flash, focal length, white balance and what mode you were in when you shot it if you want. Any other info you want to add in there, that you think is important to the shot.

You can use Jeffery's EXIF viewer to look at the data for any photograph that has not had it stripped. Either on your HDD or a URL. If you use firefox you can drag the icon on the top right to your tool bar and just click on it when looking at a photo and it will open up in a new tab with the photo in it. It also shows histogram data if you click on the wording down at the bottom of the photograph.
