i don't understand, what is so good about the battery? does it last longer than normal. it doesn't say...

Well, the EN-EL4 (batteries for the D3 series) is about $110 from most retailers. More in some places.

Holy cow.. I'd want the battery to aid with composition and pull focus for me at that price.
