Default Yay New Stuff :D

My new lens turned up yesterday; Sigma EX 24-70mm 2.8 which is pretty hefty and has a massive 82mm thread, even my beasty 70-200mm 2.8 only has a 77mm :P

And then today my new hard drives turned up. I was getting down to my last 4GB so have just added another 2TB, making a total of 5 hard drives inside my box now :P Happy days

That is cool! I was actually thinking of getting a prime telephoto lens because prime lenses take much sharper photos. I was looking at the comparison of the 200-500mm Sigma cannon f/2.8 compared to the Nikon 400mm F/4 and the prime lens was twice as clear as the Canon zoom. I guess it would be good to have one good zoom lens like your 70-200. The prime lenses are just so much sharper!

Yeah I took that with the new lens :P 1/10th Handheld, f/5.0 400ISO - no flash obviously.

Primes are awesome I only have 2 though, 30mm macro (45mm) and a 50mm 1.7 (75mm). I have an 18-250mm I use a lot purely for ease of use, but the gears have gone on it a bit

My problem is I get shake easy, not sure why - although I have a good idea :P, but if I flood the scene with light, things come out very sharp.

congrats on the new glass and drives. Looking forward to your opinion of the lens as you spend more time with it...
