Inserting Pictures In Post

I have noticed that some folks put the actual pic in the post while others usea thumbnail or a link ? How do you control the placement i.e., i want to put the whole pic in the post but do not know how ? Any help would most appreciated ?

To include the picture and not a thumbnail you have to have your photo stored at a site such as Flickr or Photobucket both have free versions. Once you have your photo uploaded to the web you can then copy the URL of the photo and then click on this
and paste the URL of your photo into the dialog box, making SURE you don't double up on the " http://" portion of the URL.
