I was at a baseball tournament yesterday (10 and 11 year olds) and there was a photographer there who had a big tent/trailer set up.
In the trailer he had about 6 computer monitors set up in a circle around a post kind of thing where people could click on a specific day (Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night) and then click on the specific game played on that day and then they would be able to browse through all the pictures taken during that game. He had it set up with a shopping cart so people could order the prints they wanted. I'm not sure if he actually prints any of the photo's right there on location or not but I think he must as most of the teams were from out of town. I'm guessing maybe he had all that set up in his trailer. I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy as it appeared he was a one man show and he was out at one of the games taking pictures when I was there. Anyways, I thought it was a pretty neat setup he had going. I've seen others at games or tournaments that offer to print your shots right there but I've never seen a set up like this guy had with the multiple monitors so more than 1 person could browse through the photo's at a time and pick the ones they wanted without him having to look up which kid was theirs. Anyone on DPS do anything like this? |
