Default I just read....

that Jeff Conaway who played Kenickie on Grease died tonight.
Man, I love love love that movie. I have loved it since I was 5. I had the album...you know the big vinyl ones that they used to make and I would play it on my Fisher Price record player and sing at the top of my lungs.
Pretty sad But it happens, I guess.

Seems he couldn't get past the drugs. Quite the waste.

I read about that in the newspaper . I love Grease! It's my all time favourite film. I remember when it first came out I was 9. I have it on DVD and it still gives me a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I watch it and I love the songs! I even watched it not long ago (Easter school holidays on TV).

LOL! Nicole I had the vinyl album too!!

Poor Kenicke what a shame. RIP.

That really sucks! Grease brings back lots o' memories for me. It was one of two movies i actually got to enjoy in a drive in theatre when I was a kid, before they all fell by the wayside. I still watch it every time I see it.

Me too Luke. I saw Grease and Pete's Dragon at the drive in theater when I was little. Would you believe me if I told you that we actually have a drive in theater about 30 miles from our house? They are pretty rare! It is awesome. It is always a double feature too!

That's awesome! My girlfriend's family lives in Gallipolis OH, and they had one up until about 6 months ago. It was fully operational, but decided to tear it down. I really wanted to go there! There are a couple here in NC, but the drive is a little to far for me.

Don't forget his role on "Taxi", loved that show and it's theme song.

It is sad when drugs take another life.
