Default Don't you just hate it when you don't bring the camera

Its my nephews birthday today so yesterday at around 7pm I drove to my sis in laws to drop off a couple of birthday cards. I didn't expect her to be in to be honest as she works long hours but she was! My 2 children came along for the ride and played in her garden and the neghbours black lab Jedi came bounding in and the children were chasing him round the garden with a stick and tickling him on his belly meanwhile the sun was creating a wonderful backlit effect the both my kids have red hair and the sun was making a beautiful rim light aroound them. So pretty! Also her back garden backs onto a huge brightly coloured yellow field everything was just right..... minus my camera

I used to shoot morning, noon and night regardless of any lighting conditions. High noon in bright light you name it! but now I am learning that its no conducive to nice photos.

Don't you just hate it when the right light comes and you have nothing to record it? At least I learnt something yesterday. I actually witnessed the all elusive "perfect light" (imo).

I once was 10 meters outside my door before I realized I had no shoes on. But I did, of course, have my camera.
Now you've learned.

That's why we have P&S cameras.
No problems having one with you, always.

This is how scatty I am.... I once went out with ODD shoes on. I thought I was walking funny when I looked down and one shoe was brown and the other black and completely different styles! Now that would have made a funny photo!

Richard: I know! I have a new handbag so the p&s is in the old bag. I have now put it the new one. Thanks for the reminder!

The only problem is that you will see something great, however because you are driving on a motor way or bridge etc you can't stop to take a photograph.
