Default What are your photography goals?

What is it that you want to do with photography? Do you have any goals? Willing to share them? Of course, there are a million different reasons and goals, so feel free to share them - or remain anonymous

Personally, I`ve struggled with some of these questions for a long time, especially that first one. I have decided that want to make statements and create worlds with my photographs. So, for now, I pursue art and struggle with subject matter. I`d like to become better at lateral thinking photographs. My current "concrete" goals are to finish 4 photographic projects (Coherent bodies of work) per year.

I also have a goal of taking "the perfect forest image", and hope one day that I will.

Default Photo goals

If I stick strictly to photography, on a personal level, I have to say that it's to better myself and be the best I can be.
That being said, I want to use photography as a tool to complete the rest of my work. I have had this idea in mind of something that would combine my music, writing and photos into one exhibit with everything linked together.
It sounds big and crazy to me but it's a goal I'm seriously pursuing.
Now, if I can just figure out what all those buttons and dials do...

I recommend getting an "Igor". "Igors" always know which button and dial does what.

I have never had any "goal" to be the next Ansel Adams or famous, neither did I or do I want to be a professional "artist", I make do with being a photographer who ocassionally makes "artistic" pictures, everything else I have done or am doing now.
