Default Image Gallery

About a year ago I realized that I need someplace to put my photos online. I had a lot of requirements. It had to look great, it had to store the hi-res files and give the viewer the ability easily download them and it had to be fast. If you have ever used Google's picasa web gallery you might know what I mean. It pre-loads the images so you don't have to wait. I looked forever I could not find what I wanted.
So I made one. I have spent hundreds of hours working on it. I am just going forget modesty and say, it is totally awesome. And I am providing it as open source free software.

Features:
- Quick photo switching, loads 20 photos in front and behind (every time you switch photos)
- Switch photos by using the arrow keys
- On touch devices such as iPhone you can change photos by swiping the photo
- Shows extensive exif data
- Quick download
- Fullscreen mode
- Easy multi-file upload
- Admin login that allows you to delete photos, albums, etc.

Notes - I still consider this project in the "alpha" phase. I can almost guarantee there will be bugs. But I am going to continue development and I will respond to any bug reports.

I am putting this online because I want feedback. Please let me know what you think.

I would really like some feedback. Anything. Even if you don't install it, let me know what you think of the demo!

The demo is looking good to me, I have tried a few gallery systems and none seem to impress much,,,,but then that could be down to my unimpressive photies I will try yours and get back to you.

I've been looking for a simple clean front end.

Front end seems to be pretty much the same as most pro websites, which I like, clean and uncluttered with space for my own styling.. I think the real "tell" is going to be the back end interface, and how easy it is to manipulate the CSS database settings etc to make the site "your own". Can you give me access or provide screen shots to the back end?

What technology does it use? PHP? MySQL? Let me know, if it's what I want, I'll put this on line with a link for you to add as a demo site. (And also a link back to you.)

Small comment.. It would be nice if the up arrow took you to the level above, and a breadcrumb at the top to take you to all the levels.

I took a second to look at it and my feedback so far is that I had to hunt for the next/previous arrows. I think the placement should be something more intuitive. I'll look it over some more tomorrow.
