Default If you could only....

If you could only take one type of phote ie...portrait or landscape, etc...which would you choose.

Myself, I would think portrait would be my preference.

Dont limit yourself to portrait or landscape, thre's a whole rainbow of photographic styles out there, those are only two.. What about cityscape, macro, wildlife, nude and boudoir, action, journalistic, HDR (Just to pick a few from the thread list) They're all valid styles..

I wouldn't limit myself, there are so many cross over points.. What is someone who takes pictures of people in landscape, how far from a flower for you need to be before it changes from close up to landscape. Where does the cityscape end and the landscape begin? How many clothes does someone need to be wearing for it to go from Nude/boudoir to Portrait?

Photograhy is a real melting pot of styles, and of course some photos are clearly of one type or another, but I couldn't box it all in and say "I'll only ever take this type", If I had that kind of limitatio, I'd probably put the camera down.

I guess if I had to choose I would portrait because I love taking pictures of my children and family. However, I love them all and would hate to choose.

You know what, I really don't like people. Really don't like them. But looking at my photos, apart from abstract ones, all my favourites are people in natural environments
