Question How to find local clubs and/or workshops

What is the best way to find local camera clubs and/or workshops to learn techniques and share photos? I would love to attend a work shop or meet with a club on a regular basis, but everything seems far away. There's gotta be something close by?! I live in Tacoma, WA.

Check the meetup.com
Check with your local arts council and/or chamber of commerce.
Search the yahoo groups for local camera clubs.

Thank you! There are quite a few local groups on meetup.com. I've never used that before so I had no idea. Thank you for the tip!

Have to agree about meetup.com. I help run a group there and we run classes all the time.

Even through there are a few photo clubs on the kitsap peninsula, I belong to the Kitsap Photo Guild.
