Since I was a kid that I dream of locally watching a launch, alas this will have to remain in dreamland...

I have been very forutnate to see a good many of them, including challenger, there is absolutely nothing in this world more exciting than being within 5 miles of a launch, where you can not only see it and here but feel the raw power...it's something that will be missed greatly..

Yeah, I can only imagine what the sound would be like because no audio device can reproduce it as if you were there.
I hope NASA can find a new replacement still within my life span then I could combine both desires of watching a lifftoff and visiting the USA.

Just curious to know, hasn't there been many space shuttle launch captured before? Why this has to go so viral?
