Default Bloody Annoying

Yes I know, they pay the bills. And yes, its probably a great programme, but bloody hell it's annoying. It pops up everywhere on DPS. What is this demented fool talking about, well it's Portrait Professional that's getting up my nose. Every time I log in its there, across the top, down the side, across the bottom. An ugly face, then a plastic face. One with pimples one with lines like a baby's bum.

Is it just me?

Cheers,
John W

No pop ups for me. You do know that Firefox is free, easy to download and install, will import all your bookmarks for you, AND stop those annoying pop ups! most of the time...

Some sites have extra code and have to be specifically targeted for control. But all in all FF4 is a pretty robust and easy to use web browser and it has tons of apps and addons to streamline your browsing/researching efforts.

How is that for a nice commercial? But seriously if you are on IE it must be because you are surfing at work and IT isn't allowed to let you have any other browser, even though it is less likely to catch a virus.

what bugs me about the ads (when I'm at work and can't use FF) is that I've actually seen a couple made worse by PP.. Sheesh.

Mate I invented Firefox, I've been using it for five or more years and it still is on my screen, And I use Thunderbird as well.

And Jim, no I'm not using it at work, its 10 to 10 at night here. Even if I was, too bad, I run the business.
I actually did not say it was a pop-up, I said it pops up every where. It does this on the DPS Home page and as a google ad in the side bar. It has nothing to do with Firefox nor IE, its just a part of the web site structure I think.

But its still bloody annoying.

Cheers,

John W

I use firefox - as aweful as it is. I see the ads across the top and the side but never actually "notice" them, what's the big deal? :P
