It's interesting though, eh... I mean, I can see how people might think... whoa, there's a quick buck!.. And would do it.. I mean, I'd prob do an OK job... but it's not 'me' ya know...

I don't know what's going on with the photographic alignment of the universe, but I was just asked, too!!

Yeah, the wedding. Outdoors + golden hours + beach in tasmania + 8 months to study and prepare + very limited wedding budget of our friends = was told I'd be an idiot to say no. I've had previous experience shooting a friend's wedding (second photographer, was asked to snap) and based on their reaction and their disappointment with the $3K they paid the official photographer, I thought, hey, I think I can pull this off as I have plenty of time to prepare just for this shoot.

Long story anyway. But their expectation had been set and they told me exactly what they wanted and it seemed ok. Also told them to keep looking for another photographer and to not hesitate at all if they change their mind.

Oh dear.

that's one area of photography I want to get into but just scares the shit out of me.
I mean, there are so many "one time only" shots in that kind of event that if you miss them you're screwed!
I mean like cutting of the cake or the breaking of the glass if you're jewish.. either you got it or you didn't - no second chances here!
