Facebook fan page question:

Hey guys! Quick question, I have opened a fan page on facebook just to share some stuff with family and friends and was wondering if I have to recreate it to get a seperate password for that page? I can't figure out how to like other pages using my fan page. It always likes them under my personal page. Does that make any sense?

Makes perfect sense, your fan page is tied directly to your personal account, you would need to create a completely seperate FB account, with a different email account ( this is against FB's TOS btw).. Fan pages are just that "pages" and pages aren't people so they are unable to "like" something.
Does that make any sense?

I think you can click the tab that says "use FB as whatever the page name is", and you can like other pages that way? I am not sure, but I do see fan pages all the time that liked other pages.

Go to your fan page, and on the right you'll see "use Facebook as (insert your fan page name here - click on that, then your fan page can "like" other pages. Does that make any sense at all? LOL

Yes, I found where to change the "use as" portion of it. I have also seen several "pages" like other "pages".. Maybe its the way I'm getting on facebook, via Ipod versus regular computer thats making it difficult. Thanks!

Thanks Susan! When i go to my pages liked.. My page is on the top so i just click on that. But haven't been able to search for any pages but like i said might be because of the way i get on (ipod) I'll try it tonight!

So heres another question??? I've been liking all of these pages ( alot from users here) under my personal account, now that you've shown me this I want to "like" them thru my business page.. do I need to go thru and physically like them all again or is there a way to maybe import them from my personal like to my business likes??

I was kind of wondering the same thing myself.
