Default Mode included in EXIF data?

This may be a really dumb question but does it say anywhere in your exif data what mode you shot in? I am just learning and experimenting (alot). I just looked back at some of my pics and can tell what mode I was in. I am experimenting with taking some shots in auto then switching to the other modes. I want to post a pic to get critiqued but I don't want to post the ones in auto.

I am new so be kind

I'm pretty sure when uploaded to Flickr, it displays what mode you shot in.

I don't know about Photoshop or other exif viewers

You would need the extended exif I believe. But don't take my word for it as I am a Nikon guy. Flickr will tell you and the acct is free and if you have a yahoo acct already it is a no brainer. I use gmail, but then again I am a Nikon user...

Looking at the EXIF displayed by exiftool and Flickr for images from my Canons, the field you're looking for is "Exposure Program".

I just looked in my flickr at exif files and they do say what mode you've used, like Aperture-Priority AE or Program AE or Manual. Haven't seen any that says normal mode....I'm a canon user.

Look here as an example - Exif | Tunnel Lines | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Hmm. Try looking for "Exposure Mode" then. Canon's EXIF Viewer app can probably show any proprietary fields the other apps don't.
