I got a Pentax compatible IR remote from eBay for £3.69 including postage. Works perfectly!

Tried building it. It worked pretty good in prototype mode, where everything was just stuck together by friction. When i soldered it, it dont work no more. Not sure what i did.

Tried again... Got it working. Mine looks a lot prettier than that. Great fun to play with. I can see it coming in handy. It's only an inch long in the bag, a lot smaller than the push button remote and ten feet of wire. The church of Jobs is great...
