Default Get married during World Championship Snooker? How Un-British!

I'm probably one of the few people on the planet not watching the Royal Wedding at the moment. I'm just kicking myself for not having any channels on the telie at the moment to watch the World Championship Snooker. Not that I'm a huge snooker follower (prefer 9 Ball) but c'mon, why would you get married during the World Championship Snooker event?

Or is this this still considered a lower class game?

Sorry, just trolling around the forum -- the Royal Wedding is all over the net and tv at the moment. *Yawn*

Someone wake me up when Camilla breaks into her second bottle of vodka and starts doing karaoke.....

You are kidding Gracie.

No one does a gig like the Poms. I just marvelled at the photo ops. Especially that amazing Westminster Abbey. I just love a parade. Not a Yank honky tonk one that they do, but a bit of pomp and ceremony is fatastic.

My better half and i just sat there saying.....'been there".

Am dying to get back soon. Anyone got a spare bed?

Cheers,

John W

Phew, I thought I was the only one. I don't know why I wasn't interested in watching, I guess it feels like gossiping or watching a ceremony that really should be a private affair. Since they didn't bother inviting me and all, I didn't attend. Hehe.

Snooker: just imagine a pool table twice the size with many more balls to play with being tossed around with a stick. Not very famous in the US, but it is fascinating to watch if you like pool or billiards. A very different game in comparison to 8 or 9 ball.

Seriously?! :O No idea what snooker is? :O Imagine Pool/8ball/billiards, but with smaller balls and more skill required.

I should have really gone down for the wedding and got some shots :P But didn't even think about it until about an hour ago. Some fat ass lenses out there today though

Probably because Snooker is the worlds most boring sport has something to do with it

YAWNNNNNNNNNNNN, so are royal weddings. I grew tired of it when the U.S.news channels sent corresponds and TV to London a week before the wedding to report the preparations.

I told my wife I set the alarm for 1AM to watch the wedding. She said if I woke her up that early to watch such a stupid event, she'd divorce me. I was only teasing, but then again, it was tempting to see if you'd file if I did awake her.
