Default Forgotten Macro Flash
I just had to share this. I was cleaning out a closet today getting ready for a garage sale and found a brand-new Macro Flash unit in the box that I had purchased several years back and never used! It was sitting high up on a shelf, way in the back, forgotten.

Popped in 2 AA batteries, sync to camera, fired right off. How cool is that?
Also found $20 bucks in an old handbag!

I've decided maybe I should go to the casino.....

Those are the best kinds of finds. Even though you probably paid for the thing yourself it still feels like someone just gifted it to you. And finding $20 is always a bonus - I'd spend it on a lottery ticket!

Thanks everyone, and yeah, it kinda felt like a mini birthday yesterday. I did buy the flash, but it was while attending a photography seminar about 8 years ago, and honestly just totally blew it off. Weird thing is I was just thinking about maybe getting one...lol.....and I still didn't remember having bought one. God I am getting old!
