So this week I hit the big 30
and my girlfriend took me to Iceland as a birthday present to see the Northern Lights! - unfortunately the NL trip was cancelled due to bad weather. However, I did get to see some geysirs, fault lines, very cold places etc. If you fancy a quick browse, there are a few photos up here:http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fb...5208&aid=42407

Happy birthday! What a great present. You got some nice photographs. The houses are so colorful.

Veeeery nice.
It's actually an ambition of mine to see the Northern Lights, such a shame about the weather you had, but a sweet looking trip nontheless. Grats on 30 btw, don't feel too bad about getting older, save that for 40, it's much worse

Love the spiral staircase and the street shots of colorful houses. Must've been a magical trip overall. May your year be the same.

Happy Birthday to you! Such a shame you missed the Northern lights. They're on my bucket list... one day.
You shots from the trip are gorgeous. I just love the cool serenity of the church roof interior.
