Default Ignore threads

Is there a way I can block/ignore entire threads started by someone on my ignore list? I don't want to waste even 1/250 second of my time reading these thread titles.

I'm sorry, I almost missed this. I ignored it for a moment, then your title was catchy......

Joking aside, yes you can. Go to your user CP on your profile and in the edit ignore list you can add the person (or people) to ignore.

I don't understand why we have an ignor list anyway.

Are we that arrogant that we dismiss other opinions no matter how divergent they may be. Gee I even get some enlightenment from some contributors here who maybe paranoid, incoherent and even a bit confused, But thats PHOTOGRAPHY, it takes all types.

Bring on diversity.

Cheers,

John W

Unfortunately, I still see the new threads they start. It's just more distracting chaff to sort through; I already know that I have NO interest in these threads.

Hmmm, I wonder if it would be different if you go to their profile, click on user lists, and add to your ignore list from there?

I agree. I have gotten mad, irritated, and offended by quite a few people on here, and i am sure I have done the same. That doesn't make their opinion less important than mine. Like you, more often than not, I have come away from it wiser, and a little more tolerant.
The ignore list is one feature I probably will never use.

Take a deep breath and say, "It just doesn't matter!"
