That person must be tearing their hair out. Or getting their passport ready.

It's not a person, it's a chain. They are actually running the same deal in several locations.

Kansas City has sold something like 600 or so.

They push folks through like cattle and use some pretty high pressure sales, so I wouldn't doubt it if they pull it off, but sheesh . . .

Ah, I see... I guess if it's the same or similar 50/50 price split as Groupon, I hardly see the point, even at cost for the $9-an-hour photo tech and the prints they can't be clearing much profit, can they? like literally a couple of bucks...

I guess they are banking on upselling. They also have an expiration date of June 30, so I'm guessing they are counting on a lot of folks not even showing up.

insane....

It doesn't say how long the sessions are.. 600 sessions at even just 15 minutes each is a LOT of overhead.. just think of all thie tiem simply scheduling, answering the phone and whatnot.

all i can say is.... good luck, Bro.

Sessions are approximately one hour long, but may require additional time; please arrive 10-15 minutes before your session
I wonder how to find out how this ends up . . .

WOW,... utterly insane

they had better have darn good sales people to make that back.
$18 wouldnt even cover the person pushing the button., let alone all the other costs involved in having an actual "rented space" studio

I'm guessing that the shutter pushers make about $6/hour.

I should go apply at my local Picture People just to see.

Expected response: We're sorry sir, but you appear to be overqualified for this position.
