biggest factor is the light and capturing it correctly

so if i had to rank your elements:

1)knowing your camera and knowing its limitations
2) right place at right time
3) post production
4)subjective of people looking at the end product
5) having a high end camera and lens vs entry level

I'd be tempted to put high end camera vs not in the non factor category but it definitely can be a factor when you need certain "pro" gear in order to capture the image correctly (fast lens, high iso etc...)
