Default Guess it's my turn....*Snort*

I got a framed photo... that's right... framed photo... of a photo, I took.

Somehow, my mother-in-law gave a small JPG of my son to a family friend, who then went a butchered the shizzle-boogers out of it and then had the stones to frame it and give it to me.

And my MIL wonders why I don't like giving her my photos....

LOL, I'm not mad about it... just less lenient with photos with my MIL.

And this family friend actually thought you'd appreciate the butchering?

I always make the joke to them, "I'm like the son you never had!!" (My wife has a brother, also named Erik! HA!!)

I married their only daughter, so they are more or less stuck with me at this point

Her and I get along fairly well, I like her a lot. Probably be less popular when all her photos from me show up with a water mark! HA!!

Apparently so. It wasn't horrible, but didn't help the photo either. She replaced the background with some purple slurry that looks like a REALLY badly faked muslin background.

I'd honestly be a bit of a bitch about it and ask what made her think she had the right to edit one of my photos. But that's just me....

Ah, yeah. In that case, I would, too.

Yeah, the editing bit would piss me off. Like Susan said - what gives someone the right to think they can edit someone else's work without permission. My mother did that to me last year - it was the fact that she made the changes without consulting me that annoyed me - more so than then sending the photos to her friends and telling them I took them!
