Red face Teddy Bear Testing

It's a sad, sad, day when you want to try out your new softbox and this is your only subject. Thought maybe this would give someone a chuckle.

No you are not mad, bad, or sad. I'd have done the same thing with my teddy that is 42 years old

Lovely cute shot by the way.

The Teddy Bear test is actually well known. Get a black one, white one and mid-tone one and test exposure, etc.

At a wildlife workshop I attended, we used a stuffed owl to practice exposure and composition.

I use teddy bears all the time for testing different lighting combos lol. As Jim said, I've got a black one a white one an a brown one.

I've got about a hundred shots of a full size human skull using a beauty dish and a couple softboxes.

My daughters are going to be surprised when they wake up and see "teddy" sitting in the chair in the make-shift studio I set up tonight. Thanks for the tip from a newb.
