Default You Get What You Pay For...

Hi everyone, just seen this article whilst reading the paper this morning, thought it would be of interest to people here. Whilst actually about the filming of a wedding rather than stills it makes for an interesting read. I know the final product is horrendously poor but when they only paid a couple of hundred pounds for a full day of filming they must of at least suspected something!?

After watching the video it doesn't look edited at all - just a load of outtakes! The bit where the bride hands out bags of gifts - why did he stand at the same place as the guests? If it was me I'd stand to one side so no-one would get in my way.

When I got married we paid £750 for 2 cameramen 16 years ago capturing moments from me getting ready to the moment we went clanking off in the wedding car with old tin cans hanging off the back at midnight. They did an awesome job even better than the photographer who was also one of the best in town.

Yeah you do get what you pay for unfortunately. At least the photographer looked like he knew what he was doing.

To be fair to the guy he does call himself "Lasting Impressions video and photography services" and did tell the couple that he could "uniquely capture their special day forever" and I think we can safely say the he did indeed create a "lasting Impression" and "uniquely" captured their special day forever.

I suspect he is in fact years ahead and that the videoing of guests feet will be the must have style in a few years.
