i cannot do it. it says "invalid file" every time. im sure there is a forum for it somewhere, but i cant seem to locate it. I resized it according to how i interpreted the directions on how to do so and still no luck. any instructions would be much appreciated thanks

As to the OP, I believe most common file extensins would be supported, and i'm guessing it's a jpg.

That said your problem may be the size youre trying to upload... it ony allows itty-bitty dimensions, so check those and check your image.

If memory serves me correctly, profile images are one of the things that got pooched up along with the attachment function when they moved from whatever they were hosting the site on to a cloud-based hosting system.

Perhaps that bug hasn't been fixed yet, which is causing the conflict. I'd attempt to change mine to test, but I'd hate to lose it and not get it back.
