Default Photography Assignment Assistance, intimate space?

Am Romeo. I'm taking a digital photography class. Our assignment is due in 2 weeks and for some reason I am having a major creative block.

We need to bring in 12 of each type of photo
*Urban Space
*Natural Space
*Intimate Space

The Urban & Natural spaces are no problem. Its the Intimate Space that I am having trouble with. My home isn't anything worth taking pictures of, but I could stage something I suppose.

I guess I am just looking for some ideas. Please share anything you can think of.

Thank you!

I always think of what a what a former customer of mine did - all b&w, all naked people, all inside a really big box (okay, only one photo in that set is one of his Box photos, but you get the idea).

Mind you, you don't necessarily have to go to that kind of extreme - a closet could be an intimate space, a small bathroom, a kitchen, a couch, your bed, a corner, a cave, under a tree, etc. Whenever I think "intimate" I think more mood than anything else.

A church, a book, music.. all have levels of intimacy connected to them.
Perhaps getting creative with the moods surrounding these (as the previous poster said) would work?

Go to a store and ask to try on some clothes etc. and set up some scene for yourself - confined and in an intimate space.

Put your camera on a tripod with a remote release. Get in the bath with all your clothes on and a magazine (No water).. Something wierd but not outrageous, I don't know.. Sheep herders monthly? Wear some odd looking clothes, stuff that you wouldn't normally wear, bright woolly clothes and wellies comes to mind.. Then take a shot. You need to get a shocked look on your face, like you've just been caught out when the shutter releases.. Try to get the camera pointing in such a way that the door is in the frame a little, like someone's just looked round the door with a camera.

Just an idea, but that's what I'd do.. Intimate space.

Don't worry about staging something.. Most of the famous "Street" shots are staged (Doisneau's "Kiss" series coems to mind) it just needs to look like it wasn't staged.

What about a nest, doghouse, dog bed, animal den, etc? With appropriate care for the critters involved of course.
