Default Canon Operations After The Tsunami

"Damage was significant at Canon Inc.’s Utsunomiya Office and Fukushima Canon Inc."
These are the exact words from Canon Inc. (Japan) on their latest report regarding damage from the earthquake and tsunami. Operations have shut down on significant camera and lens manufacturing plants. There have been injuries in the Utsunomiya plant.
How it will affect prices on the open market, now that some factories have shut down is still yet to be assessed.

I feel their pain over there for the ongoing situation, and being a Canon user I believe my wallet will also feel the pain.
