I believe you can take your http link and put it between the img code and it will embed the image in the post

It's funny I've never had any problems till today. The sites FAQ says HTML code off flickr. but I was told to use the BBL. code instead and that worked. Go figure. Thankyou for the reply.

I'm sure the HTML code from Flickr works across the site. Let's try a shot of mine:

Spirea japonica 'Goldflame'

Behind the scenes, that looks like this:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/wulf/5465435567/" title="Spirea japonica 'Goldflame' by basswulf, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5172/5465435567_fdf218cdfe_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="Spirea japonica 'Goldflame'" /></a>

That is just copied straight from the HTML Flickr provides. It is relatively fragile in that a tiny change (eg. deleting one of the angle brackets) can break the whole thing but should work if unchanged. You're not trying to insert it into posts with the "add image" button are? You just need to copy from Flickr and paste in here.

If you, or anyone else, gets a problem where you think the HTML isn't working, you could leave it in the broken state (don't try to fix it) and report the post (pink rectangle in the top right of each post) so that the mods can take a look.
