3: film
4: Nikon FE + NIkon 50mm f/1.8

Also: Lowepro Street and Field Belt.

Also not shown: Nikon Lightstand kit (Nikon 9' Air-cushioned stand, 48" shoot-through/bounce-back convertible umbrella ; Interfit Strobies 24" square softbox. They have their own bag.

As for usage: The Large backpack (image 1) is used as a "home-base" or "mothership bag". It's used to carry all my equipment as a mobile studio (in particular when using public transit). I also use leave it in the trunk of the car if I need to and use the large bag (image 2) as a temporary storage. Once on-site, the bag usually sits on a table or floor and I pull form it.

The large go-bag is used for day-outings when I know what I'll need to shoot. It's also what I carry when on vacation.

The smaller go-bag is used for film equipment, either 35mm or 120. I haven't shown the 120 set up as it's fairly simple (no pads, just the body/lens/back and the FE on top). Much of my 35mm (and 120) shooting is Ilford XP2 film which is a 400iso film. Since the FE only goes to 1/1000 and the 120 body only to 1/500, I often need some ND filters (a 3-stop). I often carry this bag with a light tripod for both film systems: makes a great small kit. Right now, I have a MD-12 motordrive for the FE, though I've yet to use it much.

The bottom portion of the daypack is actually the bottom part of my schoolbag (hence the random stuff, though most is also in the mainbag). It comes with my day-in and day-out. Sometimes the 50mm lens is swapped for a 24mm f/2.8 AI.

IMGP0010 (450 x 600)

This is kinda hard to see some things, cuz my flash on the P&S kinda blew everything out.

1. Silica packet that came in the bag. (They get moved around.)
2. Battery charger and second silica pack.
3. D3100 with kit lens.
4. Cleaning kit
5. This is where my tripod goes, when I dont want to carry it. It has its own carry bag, but its easier to put it on the backpack. ( No that red bag isnt my tripod, thats my cue stick. )
6. Pouch for my lens caps, and filter.

My gear is sad looking comparibly. lol The space above my camera, I can put things like a water bottle or whatever. There's a pouch on the side where I usually put my phone and keys. A lighter stays in there permanently, and I keep a Gerber multi tool on one of the straps. Just in case something happens, and I need them.

Eric, Its ok,... I like ya buddy. lol You, Luke, "Bob" (?) and Gulf Coast Girl would be my people that I'd want to meet in person. ( Don't get me wrong, there are other people that I like on here, I just think that I'd get along with the mentioned really well. )

Obviously I haven't spent half as much as some people here but this comment made me think about my wardrobe. Sometimes when I buy new gear I hide it at the back of my wardrobe behind my dresses and every now and again I get things out and when my husband asks if it's a new piece of kit I turn and say "what this old thing? No I've had it ages. Keep up!"
