Default It's Friday

Well guys TGIF. This is the first weekend in forever that I dont have a photo shoot. Be it portraits or for some magazine. I'm planning on editing photos, maybe get a few framed even.
Gonna go see the Rite tonight with Anthony Hopkins and enjoy myself all weekend.

What are your plans?

At some point between now and Sunday night I will be desperately trying to take a half decent picture for a photography death match I have going between myself and a good friend. It's one picture a week for 12 weeks directly critiqued and awarded points by a pro-photographer friend of us both. The loser has to use the winning photos to create a 2012 calendar. I'm one nil up at the moment so I need to keep the pressure on

Saturday I'm hopefully finishing the decorating in our utility room.

Sunday my family and I have a lunch meet with some old friends which should be nice.

On Saturday, weather permitting, I will be helping my son construct an outdoor science classroom at one of the inner city schools where he teaches, and on Sunday I will be loading the camera gear in the kayak an looking for something "wild" to shoot.

TGIF is right! As for plans, I have two shoots and one viewing session tomorrow. Sunday is free, but I'm packing for an away shoot next week.

My kids have the flu so my plans include popsicles and ibuprophen. Maybe squeeze in some photo editing.

I'll just be relaxing my poor hands. They hurt like hell from tanning deer hides!
Can barely type, and making a fist sets them on fire.

And then if they feel well enough to spend an extended amount of time with a mouse, I'll work on editing some photos.

TGIF alright! Is it too early to have a refreshing glass of chilled white wine yet?

My plans for tomorrow is to take my daughter for her swimming lesson then its a family trip to find an oven. I've put up with the one we have (it was in the house when we bought it from previous owners) for the last 5 years and have only just realized that the lower element is broken. No wonder it was taking nearly 2 hours to bake a poxy potato! It's nothing more than a glorified grill at the moment. My husband went round to a local electrical shop last weekend to find a replacement element but the make of oven has gone bust 5 years ago!
