Well this'll make you laff (I hope) I started a blog LAST YEAR that only has around 3 photos on it (and only 2 followers) and one of those is my sis lol! I just never "got round" to updating it.
I'm not college educated either and I don't care one iota. I have qualities that can't be meaured by qualifications such as putting people at their ease. I'm really good at that and listening skills. I can really listen. Sometimes I reflect on my own life and think it would be awesome to have a sparkling, glittering career but my life hasn't panned out that way. I think I'm going to be the next Van Gogh ie never sell a photo in my life but become rich and famous after my demise LOL! I'm off to Salisbury to meet my mother today and I think I'll take the P&S and take some street photos (less telling!) and also take some shots of market stalls or some abstract shots. Get Shooting! Take the camera everywhere cos you never know when that winning shot will arise! That's my ramble for today over.

Thanks Rachel. I'm not looking for fame and fortune,....just to be able to be make enough to get by on, and maybe a lil extra to support other interests. To be content with my life the way it is. Monetary things don't have much to do with that,... it's more how I feel. Physically and mentally. When I have my camera on me, and I'm on a photo quest,... I'm in heaven. If I could do it every day without worry of expenses or if my car will hold out,...that would be a dream. I'm just not there yet. ( Kinda thinking heavily on a new car. ) I think I might just start taking my camera with my everywhere.
Completely off topic- I went to a grocery store here that I don't go to a lot. It's a local chain, I think only in Texas. They have an entire aisle dedicated to other parts of the world. I'm not sure if all of their stores do, or just the ones here, since theres such a presence of people from all over the world, because of it being a military town. Either way- They had a British section. ( I LOVE the Japanese section. MmMmM Pocky. ) So I ended up buying some Burton's Foods Rich Tea Biscuits. I LOVE a good cup of tea. They kinda taste like animal crackers. But they're good, and addictive. The packaging says that theyre made in the UK. Just wondering what role these lil biscuits play in the day to day life in the UK. |

Oh yeah Rich Tea Biscuits takes me waaaay back to my Granny's house. She always had them and they always went soggy really quick when dunked in tea! They are one of the truly British biscuits - great find btw

Well, yeah. I tried them dunked in my tea. Good, but I like Oreos dunked in milk better. I dont even pour syrup on my pancakes, I pour it into a separate plate, cuz I dont like soggy mushy pancakes.
