Default Please help if you can

As many of you will know Christchurch has been hit by a second devastating earthquake, among the many emergency support agencies The RED CROSS have steped up again to help those who are unable to help themselves
PLEASE PLEASE help by donating to the RED CROSS CANTERBURY RELIEF FUND
I know I am not allowed to solicit funds on the forum but under the circumstances I hope the moderators will allow this

Done!

I hope that you folk in Christchurch and Canterbury know that the whole country is standing with you.
Our local schools, radio stations and businesses have been organising collections and transportation of the most needed goods, and holding 'red and black' mufti days to raise cash.
Again I say - Kia Kaha. You're strong people and you'll get through.

Thanks ... yes we are well aware and VERY thankful for the support from around the country, my purpose for this thread was to drum up some international support from fellow photographers to help the Red Cross to continue their AWESOME work in the region as at present we do need all the help we can get.

THANKYOU to all who have donated and be assured if your time ever came (for your sake I hope it doesnt) we will be there for you.

It still seems so strange to be the centre of the worlds attention in relation to a disaster, it just never ever seemed a likely prospect

Exactly one week ago we were rocked by this tragedy ... still many bodies are trapped beneath the ruins of our city, thousands are homeless and it seems more people are being evacuated than are allowed to return to their homes
Please help us in our darkest hour, the RED CROSS are doing an INCREDIBLE job and 100% of your donations goes to help those that so desperately need it, they take nothing for administration so it is guaranteed your money will not be wasted

Again I cant thank those who have donated enough

Paul
