Another huge earthquake in Christchurch.
Oh man, those poor people down there. My thoughts are with them - and my Dad and partner who were holidaying in Christchurch, and have reported in as OK.

Glad to hear they are OK.
I haven't heard from my sister & her kids yet. It may have been smaller, but the damaged buildings obviously couldn;t take it. A death has been confirmed already.

Oh dear neighbours, it's all so awful. We really didnt' need another disaster in our shores....
I can really empathise (or is it sympathise?) with those who are affected - I used to live in LA and experienced the big earthquake back in the 90's ( I think that's the year) and I was scared out of my wits. You roam around, get scared again because of aftershocks, and then you feel awfully lucky that you didn't suffer anymore than rattled nerves when you see and hear how others had lost so much, including their lives. Im glad to hear your families are well!! I'd be out of my mind if I had family and friends there right now. |

Glad to see you're on line NZMXr, I was wondering about you.
The TV coverage shows what an appalling mess it is.
