Yeah, my husband lost a huge huge customer when the company as a whole decided to send work somewhere over seas....he does drafting work, draws blueprints and stuff. I know it is a different field, but same idea.
I don't feel negative about the countries that the work is sent to. I mean, of course they will take our money if we are willing to give it up. I do feel negative about OUR OWN people/businesses supporting other countries when there are so many people in need within our own borders.

LOL, I'd send them a complete disaster of a photo with a list of a gazillion things I want them to do to it as the free sample they do for you...then say, "Nah, I'm not impressed. Thanks anyway."

I received the same email with a follow up phone call and then asked if they were located in the USA as I only do business with US based businesses. THey said "No" and I replied, "Why isn't that a shame. I for one believe in not sending business overseas!"

Well, after seeing this email I just got one that had me lmao!
Here it is (slightly edited)

IRISH COMPASSION

A man was sitting on a blanket at the beach. He had no arms and no legs.

Three women, from England , Wales , and Ireland , were walking past and
felt sorry for the poor man.

The English woman said "Have you ever had a hug?" The man said "No," so
she gave him a hug and walked on.

The Welsh woman said, "Have you ever had a kiss?" The man said, "No," so
she gave him a kiss and walked on.

The Irish woman came to him and said, "'ave ya ever been f*cked, laddie?"
The man broke into a big smile and said, "No".

She said, "Aye, ya will be when the tide comes in."

So it is ok when US or UK and EU companies flood overseas markets with their products, impose controls on the imports of products from other countries and try to put price controls on things.

But it is not ok when companies in other countries tout for business, business which can be easily done elsewhere thanks to the internet and telecomms in general.

A bit hypocritical is it not, considering the work only goes abroad because the "west" has priced themselves out of the markets.

I personally would not use this service as I want to be able to meet with and discuss any retouching requirements in person rather than by e-mail.
But I admire their attempt at getting customers.
