Default Problems with Adobe's website

Is anyone else having problems loading Adobe's website? I'm thinking of getting Lightroom 3 soonish, but first I wanted to make sure I could get it to run on Linux. So I wanted to download the free trial. I have been trying for a few weeks now and every time I try their site I get a "unable to connect" message. At first I thought the whole site was down, but I wouldn't think it would take that long to fix it. Is it just me?

I don't seem to have any problems. Are you using a MAC?

No, it's a PC.
Hmm, that's odd. Thanks for the reply though.

Have you been having similar problems reaching any other websites? (Adobe website's fine and accessible to me, too). I think the most likely culprit is your internet connection or Wi-Fi. Unless you're getting a typical webserver error message, it's usually the other side of the fence that has the issue. "Cannot connect" tends to be more a client issue than a server one.

How True too!!!! I was able to reach it on both my G-5 tower unit as well as the MAcBook Pro.

I just tried it on our older, slower computer, which is on the same internet connection, and the site came right up with no problems. So yes, it must be on my end. I haven't had trouble with any other website though, so I don't know what's up. Maybe I'll just have to download the trial on the other computer. Thank you for your help.

When in doubt, try this site: Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up?
