Default Trouble staying logged in as myself

I logged in today to post in the weekly assignment thread, and after I posted the message along the top of the forum ("Welcome, 'Username') no longer had my username but someone else's. My post had the correct username. I clicked on "Log Out", and got an error message, and then the top said "Welcome, OceanHorizons" again. I logged out, closed the brower window, and restarted everything.

Then it happened again, this time with a different name that still wasn't me. I don't know if I was actually in someone else's account because I logged out right away.

Am I doing something wrong?

No, you are not doing anything wrong. It is a glitch in the system. It has happened to me a couple of times. From my experience, it hasn't affected anything.

Thanks! Glad I'm not crashing the site... or acquiring new personalities!

I have seen this as well. Two things happen to me that did not used to happen:

1) I can log in and reply to a post. After that, the site seems to forget that I logged in. I don't have this issue anywhere else.

2) If I view my own profile, I once again get prompted to log in, and then I do not see my own profile, but that of somebody else.

Not sure what's going on here, I thought it was just me.
