I've seen this done on a couple other forums and it's usually a fun way to get to know someone. The idea is that they're the person in the well in the above story and people on the forum ask them questions.

I might suggest that the person in the well quote the person they're responding to, just to keep questions and answers together.

I think it would be fun to kick this off with the ten questions James Lipton asks at the end of each interview on "Inside the Actors Studio."

2. What is your least favorite word?
3. What turns you on?
4. What turns you off?
5. What sound or noise do you love?
6. What sound or noise do you hate?
7. What is your favorite curse word?
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
9. What profession would you not like to do?
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

As an example of how this usually goes, here's one I was part of after 6,000 posts on an online poker forum. Obviously some of the game-related jargon won't make sense, and there's a few references to posters there that wouldn't make sense, but you get the gist of the game.
