Eh,... Texas isnt that big. Alaska is bigger. Doesnt make it any less devastating though.

This is just the Earth going thru what it does. It heats up, then it cools itself down. In this process, the weather wreaks havoc on anything in its path. Australia is getting bombarded with massive storms that are causing flooding. Most of America is under snow at the moment because of it. Isnt science fun? ( Thats sarcasm, I'm not rejoicing in others loss. Thought I'd throw that out there before someone bitches at me. )

Sorry Queensland but I'm glad I live in the south of New Zealand. I have a few friends who live up that way though so will be thinking of them. I always used to say that the best thing about living at this latitude - 45 degrees - is that we are too far south for cyclones and too far north for icebergs. Well a few icebergs drifted past just off the coast (visible from Dunedin) a couple of years ago, luckily, still no cyclones.
