Can you be any more specific about where you're heading in the country? Might not be that big, but no point recommending you hit places on the South Island if you're staying up north the whole time
![]() Meanwhile, without any more specific-ness, I love up north of Auckland and the remote beaches, and down south in the Queenstown area if you're able to take a while to explore. Oh, and the boulders at Moeraki are also pretty damn cool.

I just spent a weekend in Napier - very photogenic if you like art deco architecture. The wineries are pretty. Fabulous opportunities for sunrise shots from TeMata Peak.

Sorry for not clarifying, I will be traveling from Christchurch all the way to Kaitaia, staying in Kaitaia for the longest time as I have a lot of family there. Its good to know that the North Island is good. Thanks for all the help so far.
