Cool 500! :)
I have officially posted 500 useless things
I came here last year not knowing what those weird numbers, one with an 'f`' before it my camera showed were. And although I know I still have a LOT to learn, and shoot, I'm happy to say I've learned a lot.
Obviously I couldn't have done it without the help of all the DPS users who share their knowledge with the lowlys. Especially the pros who are here only to help us get to where they are.
I try to help others the same way, but any of those 500 posts were useful.



P.S. Darn I'm not going to get that Senior member tittle

Congratulations - I`ve awhile to go myself, but I refuse to bust my current roughly 2 posts per day average

I second that. I have learnt so much on these forums, often just read others critiques to see what nuggets I can pick up. And there is a lot of inspiration to be found here too - so many great ideas for photographs, I often see a great photo and think "I would never have looked at that thing that way, or thought of taking a photo of that"

Congrats, Jonbar. I have noticed your name before, attached to quite helpful comments, so not all of those 500 were useless! I definitely agree that this is a place to be educated and to be inspired. I always look forward to my daily dose of DPS!

@jonbar - Thanks for posting - first because I heartily agree about how helpful and interesting this forum is - and second because it gives me an opportunity to post and get 1 closer to 500. Only 9 to go now

The critique and SYS sections usually help with that
