Has anyone ever rented a lens? If so how did you like the experience and where did you rent the lens from?
I'm photographing my best friends wedding in April and would like to use a wide angle lens for some of the shots, but I'm not able to buy a lens. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

lensrentals.com is the only place that I've rented from. They have excellent customer service and great reseller.com rating.

I've used Borrowed lenses in the SF Bay area many times... I love to be able to rent lenses I wouldn't be able to buy otherwise. Great experience.

One of my friends used borrowlenses.com too. He used their services on his trip to South Africa (he lives in the SF Bay Area). He paid $150 last year for a Canon 300mm f/4 IS USM for two weeks rental, including insurance and FedEx to/from South Africa!! Needless to say he found them great value for money. Good luck!
