I am new to this site and looking for some help, please. A friend of mine recommended posting my question, here.
I am trying to retrieve deleted images from my lexar memory card. I transferred the images from our vacation, to my PC and removed them from the device. I had subsequently edited the photos and now I'm trying to locate the originals. Unfortunately, any of the online image retrieval software downloads I've tried will not let me access the USB drive that my camera is plugged in to. I do not have the option to insert the memory card directly into the computer. When I plug in the camera, it says it's located on the z:/drive , which is considered a "network drive" and the software will not support it. No luck. Does anyone have any suggestions that would help me, please? Thanks in advance. |

You might want to try installing a USB based card reader. Not sure why it is using the drive letter Z. In disk management tools you can change the drive letter. This might even work with your existing configuration.
