Is there a specific topic they like or are you just looking for general answers?
I might be able to give some suggestions, being that age group myself.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Got to be one of the BEST classics of all time!

You might consider checking out MIT's Opencourseware and adapting from that.

Thanks everyone. I am just looking for general suggestions so that I can complile the most complete list possible.
My plan for the older girl is to have her pick one author per quarter, she will read at least three books written by the author and then do independant research on the author's life, etc. Then write me a term paper on it all. With the younger one, I plan to have her read and write book reports, maybe two or three a month. |
