Default What do you carry in your daypack?

I'd imaging that alot of us have daypacks/backpacks for our photography equipment, but there are some things that you consider equipment that doesn't really fall under that heading (photograph related, but non-camera related.) i.e a light meter, small stuffed animals, guitar picks, general purpose dog treats, and a towel (never go anywhere without your towel) are some of the things that I carry in my daypack aside from my cameras. So what do you carry in your daypack?

List of what I carry in my Domke Reporter's Satchel (which goes pretty much everywhere with me).

Always:
Nikon D40
Ultrapod (seriously awesome ultraportable tripod)
Nintendo DS
iPod
Book I'm currently reading (The Light Fantastic by Alfred Bester at the moment)

Sometimes:
50mm f1.8 lens
there's a banana in there right now

I have a smaller bag that's really designed to be a video camera bag (mini-dv) that works nicely as a DSLR bag. I carry a 20D with the 17-40 f4L attached, then I also have the 28-135 IS and the 50 f1.8 stuffed in there as well. In the side pockets are a card reader, about 6 GB's in CF cards, a Casio Exilim EX-P600 advanced p&s, 2 spare Canon batteries, pens, notepad, business cards, blower, etc. Sometimes I'll stuff my Creative Zen Vision W in there as a card backup device.

Ear plugs (not kidding), Moleskine, pencil (won't smear if it rains), business cards, pen light, AAs for my speedlight, glass cleaning kit, press pass and an small empty sliplock pouch for memory cards after they're full.

K10d with mounted 100 mm macro, rocket blower, soft lens brush, microfiber cloths, lens cleaner solution, magnifying glass, cheap reading glasses, circular polarizer filter, remote shutter, 50 mm f/1.4 lens, memory cards, cheat sheet for stop/metering math, boar hair shaving brush to dust off my camera body and almonds.

mmmm...I need to print out some release forms and stick those in there too.

My pod has its own carrying case with a shoulder strap. When I do street work, I typically don't carry my tripod as I have pods (walls, trees and poles) all over town; and I am typically shooting at 1/250th and up shutter speed.

Let's see... my daypack usually has:

A book (never go anywhere without a book, you never know when you'll be stuck waiting in line or sitting around with nothing else to do).
My wallet
Moo Cards
iPod
D50 with 50mm f/1.8 attached (usually with a polarizer if I'm heading out in the day)
Closeup Filters
Sometimes a P&S
Memory card case

I think that's everything. And it goes into a Crumpler 5MD Home

I always carry a backpack around with me, and it contains:
  • wallet
    • cash
    • ID
    • etc.
  • pen (usually more than one)
  • folder
    • model releases (5)
    • grey card
  • cell phone
  • some food/water

Other than that, it changes depending on what I'm doing. Sometimes I'll throw a tripod into the mix, or filters, or whatever. I try to travel with as little as I can. I've historically brought my 30D with the kit lens on it, but lately I've been more inclined to bring the 70-300. It's bigger and heavier, but seems to be the right lens for what I need more often.
