Please also include the victims of flooding in other areas, like Thailand, Philippines, Brazil, and I forget where else I've read about flooding.

I'm in Sri Lanka, where, I'm told, a quarter of the country is under water, at least 200k acres of paddy fields are destroyed, at least 23 are dead, and a million are homeless with evacuation areas now flooded as well. It doesn't look good at all. The heavy rains are continuing and show no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Oh my! Have not heard of this! The news here has been full of the Queensland floods. Any disaster is terrible no matter who it happens to!

Its really awful watching it on the news My prayers are with those all affected. Its heartbreaking to hear of children being swept away from parents arms and to watch beloved animal lovers rescuing their pets only to be unable to hold on to them and seeing them drop into the raging waters. Too tragic.
